Valentine’s Day Photo Gifts

Don’t want to give the same boring chocolates and cologne to your sweetie this Valentine’s Day? Then why not present your beloved with an 8×10 glossy of you wearing his favorite lingerie.

It may seem provocative, but a new survey shows that more and more women are posing for sexy shots and gifting them to their special someone, especially on occasions such as Love Day.

Of course, sexy doesn’t have to mean slutty or sultry, there is a way to make your photos classy and sensual. In fact, you should have a clear definition of what you consider “sexy” before you book a photo session. It is very important to discuss the types of shots you want with the photographer before the shoot starts.

Something else to consider is what your partner considers to be “sexy.” Once you understand what interests your lover, then you can factor it into your session, particularly the poses you plan to strike. For example, if your sweetie thinks that certain clothing is sexy, then bring his favorites along to the photo shoot and discuss different poses with the photographer that will best show off the individual garments.

Also, be sure you are ready to pose provocatively in front of a stranger. If you know that you’re going to be uncomfortable taking off your shirt and posing in a bra and panty set at a professional photo studio, then consider having a friend take your Valentine’s Day shots or use the self timer on your camera and take the intimate photos yourself.

Finally, when putting yourself out there in the name of love, be open to suggestions. Try to remember that you are doing this shoot for the person you adore. The experience should be fun, not scary or upsetting. Show off your self confidence and you may end up with some great photos in the end.
