Want A Portrait of Your Ancestral DNA?

bar code Genealogy involves discovering who your ancestors were. It involves doing research to find documents that prove not only that you are related to a particular ancestor, but also exactly how the two of you are related. Genetic genealogy combines genealogy and DNA to confirm who you are related to. Now, a company called DNA11 can offer you a DNA Ancestry portrait that you can display on your wall.

Your DNA is unique to you, and no one else. The only exception is if you are an identical twin, because your twin shares the exact same DNA that you do. The company called DNA 11 has pioneered DNA Art. What does this mean? It means that they take a sample of your DNA and use it to create very personalized, one of a kind, custom art. It looks like a series of rectangular boxes that are located at different points in a series of columns. There are a few colors that you can choose from.

Recently, they started making DNA Mini- Portraits, which are just like the larger DNA portraits, only smaller. If you like, you can also get a Fingerprint Portrait, or a KISS Portrait, from the DNA 11 company. They print out the artwork in house, from their state-of-the-art printing facility. The lab work that is required in order for them to obtain your DNA, of course, is outsourced to a trusted, multimillion dollar, FDA certified, secure and private lab facility.

It would be really awesome to have a beautiful version of your DNA hanging on your wall. Genealogists, however, might be more interested in having a DNA Ancestry Portrait created. This takes your genetic lineage and encodes it into a one of a kind canvas art piece. You end up with a personal, scannable, barcode that can be linked directly to your personalized ancestry page that traces your origins back for thousands of years. The artwork follows your maternal lineage. It is possible to give these unique pieces of artwork as a gift to the genealogist in your family. All you need to do is purchase a DNA Ancestry Portrait Gift Kit, wrap it in pretty paper, and give that to the genealogist in your life. He or she can use the kit to send their own DNA back to the DNA 11 company, who will create a piece of Ancestry Artwork for them!
