Wednesday’s Weekly Challenge-Scrap Your Halloween Photos

Now that Halloween has come and gone, it is time to scrap those Halloween photos! For some reason, this is always a bit difficult for me. I’m not a big Halloween person, so maybe that is the reason why, but I always find it hard to coordinate papers that have a Halloween theme, with the pictures. Maybe that is because you are often trying to coordinate Halloween papers with crazy costumes. It just doesn’t always seem to flow well for me.

But, this week, let’s try for our challenge to get those Halloween photos scrapped. Here are a few “rules” for the challenge.

1. Try to fit at least 2 photos on the page if not more. We usually take so many photos of our kiddos that this is a challenge where you should really make the most of your space. If you have a hard time fitting multiple photos on a page, check out this article.

2. Use black and white paper somewhere on the layout. Black and white was all the rage this year in Halloween decor, so why not pull that over onto your scrapbook page? This can be used to matte a photo, or simply use just a small piece of some of your favorite black and white paper.

3. The last “rule” of this challenge is to include at least one spooky word on the page! This one is just for fun. You can even use the word spooky! Nothing says Halloween like words such as, Boo, Scream, Spider, Ghost, Mummy, or something else that you can come up with. Get creative! Use the word in your title, or simply use a spooky word on the page as embellishment!

Halloween is a fun holiday, and the ideas for scrapbook layouts are endless. Have fun…and Boo!
