The Magical Express Service is designed to help you get from the airport to the hotel with your luggage with a minimum of fuss and muss. As it turns out, the majority of the tourist traffic that comes through Orlando International Airport were destined for Disney – and as you can imagine that’s a lot of people, every day and a lot of luggage.
The airport made a deal with Disney that allowed them to make sure the luggage was delivered to the destination and the airport wasn’t clogged with thousands of people trying to claim their luggage all at once. You get a packet in the mail that has your motor coach voucher. You will receive vouchers for each member of your family that is traveling. The voucher guarantees you a seat on the motor coach that is traveling to your destination hotel. The airport will coordinate it so that your luggage will be sent directly to your hotel and you’ll receive it at your hotel when you get off the motor coach or it will be delivered to your room.
The great thing about having it delivered to your room is once you are at the hotel and checked in, you don’t have to wait for the luggage – you can head straight out to the parks. The packet you receive will include tags for your luggage that let them know what hotel to send it to as well as your names. The hotel staff will make sure it gets to the right room.
Disney’s Magical Express provides you and your family with a great way to get from the airport to the hotel and back again with a whole lot hassle than you might have to cope with otherwise. Traveling is difficult enough these days with all the airport regulations and security that anything helps.
