Yes! To Cookies: Can you really eat cookies on a diet?

Yes! To Cookies offers a cookie that allows anyone from diabetics to those on gluten free or low carb diets to say “YES!” to having a cookie. These cookies are sugar free, starch free, and gluten free!

The cookies are made with stevia and erythritol which do not convert to glucose. The sweeterner, stevia, is not an artificial sweetener like Splenda, so no health concerns or worries. The cookies are also made with fiber to promote good heart health.

These are the only cookies you will find that so many people with so many needs can have without negative health effects. If you are searching for a cookie that will not offend the body or the tastebuds, then try Yes! To Cookies.

My family has no health restrictions that would cause us to have to buy Yes! To Cookies or any other brand that is specialized for dietary restrictions. Due to this, we are used to high sugar, high fat cookie indulgences. We limit our intake of sugary foods but we always eat real sugar and not artificial sweeteners. This may have affected our reaction to Yes! To Cookies.

My Impressions

The texture and crunch are the same as with any regular cookie. Cocoa-Licious has a surprisingly chocolate taste. Strawberry-Banana Blitz smelled wonderful! However, I do not like fruity flavors in cookies. The Strawberry-Banana Blitz smelled more like strawberry banana than tasted like it. Again, that isn’t my normal cup of tea, so it was hard for me to judge. I would eat the Cocoa-Licious, but my tastebuds would not allow me to compare them to high fat, high sugar cookies. The Cocoa-Licious were a bit dry. Pair it with a cup of tea and I think you may have a great snack.

My Children’s Impressions

Child #1: She did not like the cookies and thought there was an aftertaste. She also does not like sweet things. She likes high fat and carb things.

Child #2: He would eat the Cocoa-Licious but thought the Strawberry Banana Blitz’s smell was too strong. He also thought the cookie was a bit dry. He is a carb fiend and still prefers real cookies.

Child #3: Another vote for Cocoa-Licious but was not happy with the Strawberry Banana Blitz. She did not think either one tasted like a cookie.

Child #4: She is my one year old and the one least exposed to sugar. She ate both cookies. She isn’t into sweets too much and is fairly picky.

Now, I know my kids did not give the highest marks to Yes! For Cookies. Keep in mind, my kids are used to eating sugary, high fat cookies with tons of butter, chocolate, and junk in them. I bake cookies and sweets all the time. We are slowly transitioning into a healthier lifestyle. However, MANY products have been rejected by my kids whose taste buds have already been tainted. Notice, that my two youngest were the most open to the cookies. They have had the least exposure to sugar and find transitioning to healthy foods easier.

The lesson here is to start early! If you have young children, throw away your junk cookies and start getting Yes! To Cookies. Remember to take any transition slowly and keep offering better choices like Yes! To Cookies. I suggest going on a sugar fast for awhile and then introducing healthier options like Yes! To Cookies. If you or your children are on restricted diets this product will be delightful! If you have children who are not exposed high sugar or high fat foods than this is a great product.

The transition is tough but Yes! To Cookies is making it a bit easier for those of us used to high sugar and high fat. It may take a bit of getting used to at first. Then again, many hold the opinion that it took no time to get used to this product. I highly recommend trying it for yourself and your health.
