Buy a Frappuccino – Get Free Music From Starbucks

frapps Summer is the perfect time to get yourself a cold, refreshing, drink, and to listen to some great music while you are enjoying it. Starbucks can help you get both at the same time. Buy a frappuccino, and get ten free songs that you can download from iTunes.

I have mentioned many times how much I love Starbucks. I used to go there at least a couple of times a week, but have slowed down a bit lately. I have a wedding to attend later this year, and, like most women, I really want to lose a few more pounds before I end up in photos that will be kept in someone’s wedding album. Alas, this means I must give up some of my trips to Starbucks. I’m hoping that it will be worth it.

If the weather is warm, I tend to gravitate towards their frappuccinos. It is both a blessing and a curse that they started making them with soy, instead of with a premixed base that contains milk. It means that I can drink them now, and drink them I do. They have become one of my favorite treats. While I am waiting for my drink to be mixed, I tend to flip through the CDs that are sold at Starbucks, or I try and see if I recognize the band that makes the music the coffee shop is currently playing.

Right now, you can get a little something extra to go along with your frappuccino. First, choose your favorite flavor of frappuccino. For me, this is either the double chocolate frapp with soy and no whip, or the cafe vanilla frap with no whip. You can pick whatever you like, and you can choose whatever Starbucks you happen to come across first.

After you buy a frappuccino, of any size, you will get the free Starbucks 10 Song Summer Mix. I assume this will handed out in the form of a code, instead of a CD, because you will need to go on iTunes and download the free music. The bands and artists that are featured in the 10 Song Summer Mix include : Death Cab for Cutie, Fleet Foxes, Telekinesis, We Are Augustines, Booker T. Jones, Parts & Labor, The Airborne Toxic Event, Peter Bjorn and John, Cold War Kids, and Matt Nathanson.

This is Starbucks way of helping you to have the “best summer ever”. This deal started June 6, 2011, and will only be going on while supplies last. This means that if you would like to listen to the Summer Mix of music selected by Starbucks you should go get a frappuccino as soon as possible. Hmm.. that sounds like the perfect excuse to make a Starbucks run.
