BYU 2007 Education Week

As many of you may know this week was Education Week at BYU. This is a time when BYU hosts many workshops and inspirational speakers. The classes go all day long, all week long and cover many different aspects of life. People from all over the world attend this activity each year. It is a time to truly grow spiritually. Everyone should hear the messages, but not everyone has the opportunity to attend.

Since the messages are so beneficial to the members of the church, you can watch rebroadcasts of a selection of the talks that are available. If you have BYUTV at home through your satellite or cable company you can simply tune into the talks during their scheduled time. You can find that schedule here. If you do not have access to the channel you can stream the talks over the Internet during the posting time. Often the shows are available anytime after the first scheduled broadcast. Additionally you can view handouts for the various lessons here.

While you are visiting BYUTV’s website, you may want to briefly look over the schedule of programs that are offered. Many of these programs can be seen online at anytime by streaming them. This can be a great resource to learn more about the gospel, parenting skills and other fun ideas. It really is a great resource for all.

If you are disappointed that you missed education week, and feel like you may have some extra time on your hands once school starts you may also want to check out the online classes that are available through BYU’s continuing education department. There are personal enrichment courses, as well as courses that can count towards a degree. There is a selection of free courses, personal enrichment courses with a small fee and then the course that count for credit are a bit more expensive
