High value Rebates and Other Offers

Some really great rebates have come out recently that I have to tell you about. For starters, let’s go back to Kellogg’s. Their $10 Fuel for School expires today, but that’s ok. They now have a $10 “Toy Voucher” rebate, with special tokens from Kelloggs and Keebler products. Find it here. That voucher is actually a check you can take to the bank. Olay Regenerist is offering a $20 rebate for Anti Aging Eye Roller and any Pantene Shampoo. Look for deals on this at CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid. You can also purchase it online at Drugstore.com. If this … Continue reading

Current Refund Offers

I write a lot about savings opportunities with coupons in this space. Refunds are really the icing on the deals cake. And it is a sweet icing! Find refund forms in the Sunday coupon supplement, in grocers ads, or on tearpads at your supermarket. Increasingly, you can find them posted by the manufacturers online. It’s important with refunds to keep a few things in mind. ALWAYS save the receipt. Very few refunds are made these days without a store identified cash register receipt. Be sure to submit the correct proofs of purchase, to the correct address. Most refunds are limited … Continue reading

American Express Spring Fling

American Express is conducting a Spring Fling promotion. When you buy two American Express gift cards, they will send you a $25 Spring Fling gift card in the mail. When I first heard of this promotion, I wasn’t very impressed. It’s a great promotion, but I don’t need any gift cards right now. Then I started thinking about it. These Amex gift cards work anywhere an American Express credit card is accepted. I pay for gas and groceries with my debit card. Why couldn’t I use the gift cards instead? I would get use out of the Amex cards and … Continue reading

Webcam Free After Rebate

Ever wonder what the person on the other end of your computer looks like? Sometimes, like when I have insomnia and am playing Scrabble at 3 a.m., I’m grateful I can’t see them in their bunny slippers and robes, but there are times I wish there was a visual. I teach online, and it’s sometimes hard to tell in black and white whether a comment is serious or snarky. Facial expressions would make it a lot easier! We have so far resisted getting a webcam because I have an incredibly beautiful 16-year old whose photo I don’t want passed around. … Continue reading

Drink More Get More – Lipton Rebate

Are you a tea drinker? I have been in the past, and am trying to get back to it. Coffee draws me in over and over again. When I’m drinking tea, especially green tea, I just feel better. The rest of the world seems to agree. With the exception of water, tea is the most consumed beverage in the world, not just because of its pleasing taste and aroma. Its health benefits are well documented. Drinking two cups of tea daily can reduce a woman’s risk of ovarian cancer by almost one half. Up that to four cups and skin … Continue reading

DuPont Carpet Care for Cars – Free after Rebate

We bought our first mini-van straight from the factory (we’re wiser now, and more frugal!). It was actually a thing of beauty, with large doors that opened on both sides and built-in car seats. Since I had four children under seven, that was a huge selling point! We paid extra for the stainproof carpet, the protectant on the upholstery, and even bought a specialized warranty that would cover cleaning. I think it went about 90 days without a spill. I actually breathed a sigh of relief when Paul spilled a cup of hot coffee on his lap, which then proceeded … Continue reading

Free Pasta Sauce Or A Full Refund

Mmmm, the title alone is enough to make me hungry. Being of Italian heritage, I am very partial to pasta sauce. In fact, I just used a large jar and-a-half of pasta sauce for the lasagna I made for dinner tonight. Yes, I know that making sauce from scratch is wonderful, but nearly impossible while I’m a mom of young ones. Using jar sauce is a shortcut that allows me to make dinner quickly with three kids underfoot. Campbell’s, the makers of Prego pasta sauce are offering a free jar of their sauce, up to a maximum value of $3.35. … Continue reading

Rebate Tips

I have a confession to make. I do not photocopy my rebates! I have been doing rebates for almost three years and on an average, I send away for about 15- 20 rebates a month. In the three years I have been doing rebates, I have had maybe less than five of them not come or are denied. To me, that is such a small number when I look at how many I have sent and that is where I justify not doing the extra work of making copies. In addition, of the ones I did not receive or were … Continue reading
