Celebrity Hitched and Ditched

Is it just me or are Alyssa Milano and Jennifer Love Hewitt really sisters separated at birth?

The two brunette actresses look remarkably similar, though they are currently at opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to relationships.

For her part, the “My Name is Earl” star (who happens to share her name with my favorite Pepperidge Farm cookie) is now happily engaged, according to her rep. The 36-year-old will reportedly marry David Bugliari, an agent at the Creative Arts Agency. According to reports, Bugliari proposed to Milano a couple of weeks ago during a romantic dinner with a ring he designed.

The couple has been dating for more than a year.

This will be Milano’s second trip down the aisle. She was previously married to Cinjun Tate.

Meanwhile, Milano’s look-alike Jennifer Love Hewitt is said to be “devastated” in the wake of her recent split with her fiance Ross McCall.

“The Ghost Whisperer” star is said to be “having a tough time” dealing with her failed relationship.

“She is usually very bubbly, but she is more quiet and seems sad,” a source close to Hewitt dished to PEOPLE magazine. “She usually hangs out with the crew between takes, but now she is only hanging out with her bodyguard.”

According to the source, Hewitt and McCall called it quits over the holidays.

The 29-year-old actress got engaged to the Scottish actor last November after dating for two years.

Finally, it’s curtains for David Cook and Kimberly Caldwell–as a couple.

According to reports, the pair is no longer an item, though they still remain “good friends.”

Caldwell’s rep announced the split yesterday saying that Cook, the winner of “American Idol” season seven, and Caldwell, a season two contestant, broke up amicably.

The 26 year olds began dating shortly after Cook’s “Idol” win in May 2008, with the rocker publicly asking Caldwell on a date right before the show’s seventh season finale.
