Memorial Day has become a three day weekend that a lot of people associate with shopping and sales. The federal holiday was originally created as a day of remembrance for those who died while serving their country. Perhaps the “middle ground” between these two concepts would be represented in these deals for members of the military.
Home Depot offers a 10% discount for Veterans. They also offer a 10% discount all year round for Active Duty and immediate family members of people who are in the military. Lowe’s offers a 10% Military Discount to men and women who are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces, to Retired Veterans and to VA Recipients. This offer is extended to their immediate family members. This offer is only valid on Memorial Day, July 4th, and Veterans Day. You must have a valid military ID card or a valid Veteran Identification Card (VIC) to receive this deal.
Sam’s Club is giving a $15.00 Sam’s Club Gift Card to military personnel who join Sam’s Club (or who renew as a Sam’s Club Member). To get this deal, a person must present his or her military ID to the Member Services Desk of their local Sam’s Club. Next, you need to pay for the membership in full. After that, you will receive the $15.00 Gift Card.
Walgreens has a special Memorial Day offer for veterans and active duty military personnel. The offer is good on one day, only, May 27. 2013. Shoppers with a valid military ID or proof of service will receive 15% off eligible store items and 20% off products from Walgreen’s, Nice! And W brands. This offer is valid at any Walgreen’s or Duane Reade drugstore nationwide.
Baja Fresh is offering 25% off any purchase for anyone with a valid Military ID. This offer is valid through May 27, 2013.
Under Armour is offering a 10% off the entire purchase for those who are active duty, retirees, veterans, military spouses, and military families. You must have a valid Troop ID to be eligible for this discount. This means you must sign up with Troop ID verification in order to receive this deal.
Premium Outlets is celebrating National Military Appreciation Month through May 31, 2013. Additional savings are being offered to all military personnel who present their military ID at the Information Center.
