Enter the Tyson “Show Us Your Nugget Face” Contest

chicken nuggets Does your child love to eat chicken nuggets? If so, then you might want to enter the “Show Us Your Nugget Face!” Contest from Tyson Foods. Send them a photo of your child happily eating chicken nuggets, and that photo could appear in magazine ads and on a Times Square Billboard.

It is no secret that there are a lot of children who enjoy eating chicken nuggets. Parents might not be so thrilled with this idea, especially if the nuggets in question are deep fried and come from a fast food restaurant. Kids, however, just want to eat something that they think tastes good.

Tyson Foods makes chicken nuggets with 100% natural ingredients. They have been minimally processed, but they don’t contain any artificial ingredients. The Tyson website describes their chicken nuggets as “Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, they’re sure to satisfy the pickiest of eaters”.

Right now, Tyson is having a contest that is called “Show Us Your Nugget Face!” Parents can enter this contest by uploading a photo of their child eating chicken nuggets. This will require you to sign up for an account, (which you will need to access later when it is time to vote for the winning entry). Parents must include a caption with the photo, and the caption must be written in English.

There are rules that you must adhere to in order to enter a photo. It must be entered by a parent or legal guardian of the child that is in the photo. That parent, or legal guardian, must be at least 18 years old. In other words, teenage mothers who are under the age of 18 are excluded from entering their child into this contest.

Only one child should appear in the photo you upload. The child in the photo must be twelve years old or younger. (Again, no teenagers allowed). The photo must show the child eating or holding at least one chicken nugget. It doesn’t stipulate that the nugget must be from Tyson.

Make sure the child is centered in the photo that you submit. There is a rule that reads: “All children must be fully clothed”. One would think that would be obvious, but, I guess Tyson felt the need to make that perfectly clear. All photos need to be submitted by March 31, 2012.

There will be a total of 50 Grand Prize Winners. The winners will be selected based on the photos that received the most votes. One vote per person, per email address, will be allowed each day until the voting period ends on April 21, 2012.

The winners will be featured in an ad that appears in the July 12 edition of People Magazine, and in an ad that appears in the August issue of Parents Magazine. Winning photos will also appear on a Times Square Billboard from July 12 through July 16, 2012. There is the potential that winning photos will be featured on select mall window advertisements, too.
