Jill Stein strongly opposes the proposal to hand vouchers to seniors to buy private health insurance from a marketplace. She wants to expand the services covered under Medicare and enable it to negotiate lower prices with drug companies.
Women’s Health Care
According to her official website, Jill Stein’s “Medicare For All” single-payer public health insurance program would cover women’s access to reproductive care. Everyone can pick their health care provider and make their own decisions about their care.

Immigration
According to her official website, Jill Stein wants to shut down family detention centers. She wants immigration reform to include granting legal status to undocumented immigrants who are already residing and working in the United States, including a fair path to U.S. Citizenship. Jill Stein is in favor of passing the DREAM Act.
Education
According to her official website, Jill Stein believes schools should be run for kids; not for profit. She opposes the privatization of public education. Jill Stein rejects the current version of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, which sets the stage for more high stakes testing and punishing and privatizing our public schools.
According to her official website, Jill Stein wants to abolish student debt and make higher education free. She believes we have the resources to make public higher education tuition free, and that doing so would unleash enormous productivity and free young people to re-imagine our economy and society.
Jobs
As part of the Green Party, Jill Stein is in favor of the Green New Deal. Part of that deal calls for setting benchmarks for minimum income, a guarantee of decent working conditions, and a push for improvement in labor rights for all forms of contracts. It also calls for training to enable workers to move into greener jobs, and a better work-life balance.
