Food Play: Haba’s Pretend Food Toys

It’s okay to play with your food. Especially if that food is pretend food. No mess or worries of a kitchen disaster made my little hands. HABA is a toy manufacturer whose endless supply of imagination sparkers and creative toys will keep children engaged for hours. Now you can find brand new pretend food to keep your little chefs busy.

The Food Sets:

Grill Set Sizzle: From personal experience I can tell you this is adorable. The little grill has kept my three year very happy grilling away even on a rainy day. The set comes with a steak, little sausage, skish kabab, fish, (2) chicken drumsticks, (3) slices of tomato, girl tongs and (5) charcoal pieces. The items are plush and soft not plastic. I try to purchase wood or plush toys over plastic whenever possible so I am thrilled about the quality and materials of this set.

Mixer Set: My little girls love to bake and I am sure you know a preschooler shares this love. The Mixer Set comes with a blender that vibrates, cloth fried eggs in shells, and melamine mixing bowl. I adore this set and is on my list as a must have. The cloth fried eggs in shells is adorable! My girls love to crack eggs. What a cute idea.

Biofino Sweet Corn: A great little item to add to any play kitchen. The corn your little one can remove the cob from the hook and loop husk.

Birthday Cupcakes: On my list for the next preschooler birthday present. Who doesn’t love cupcakes? This set has magnetic candles to attach to the cupcake. The set comes with three cupcakes perfect for a play tea party or birthday party.

Toast Hawaii: A tropical twist for your child to build a fun breakfast. The set has a slice of toast, (2) slices of ham, slice of cheese, slice of pineapple and a fabric cherry.

Cornflakes Breakfast Set: Sure to make your little one giggle this set does double duty. One side looks like cornflakes and milk. Flip it over and now you have strawberry yogurt.

Pretend play ignites creativity. Your child will have so much fun pretending to be a chef. It is also a non messy way for your little chef to pretend and experiment. Actual kitchen time is fun but sometimes you do not have the time or cannot accommodate little chefs. The solution to eager little chefs when the kitchen is closed is pretend play food for a really good time.
