Cookies & Cream Cake
Perfect birthday party cake!
INGREDIENTS:
1 box cake mix, white
1 1/4 cup water
1/3 cup oil
3 large egg white
1 cup oreos, crushed
10 whole oreos
3/4 cup shortening
1 tsp vanilla
2 large egg white
3 cups powdered sugar
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour 2 round cake pans.
2. In large bowl, combine first four ingredients. Mix at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at high speed.
3. Stir in crushed cookies. Bake at 350 for 25-35 minutes or until it tests done. Cool layers.
4. Meanwhile, In small bowl combine 1/2 cup of the powdered sugar, shortening, vanilla and egg whites.
5. Blend well. Beat in remaining sugar until frosting is smooth.
6. Fill and frost cake. Arrange whole cookies on end and on top of frosted cake.

Cook: 30 minutes
