Home School Blogger Spotlight: Quirky Momma

When I first began blogging on my personal site a little over a year ago, I came across a blogger who inspired me. It was my pleasure to bump into her on the blogosphere roads through homeschool blogging carnivals, Charlotte Mason carnivals and on online forums concerning education. She is a true professional in her approach to blogging and always gives her best. This blogger has become a blogging buddy; she is Rachel, from Quirky Momma. If you are a blogger you will benefit from her style, her helpfulness, her friendly spirit and creative heart. If you are a blog reader, parent or teacher of preschoolers you will benefit from her fun learning activities and adorable crafts for little ones.

Upon visiting her blog you enter a world where imagination and learning live side by side. Little ones are encouraged to discover the world and even make a mess. You will have just as much fun as your little ones doing the activities on Quirky Momma. The layout of her blog is clean, easy on the eyes, and easily navigated. Make certain to follow or subscribe to her site as she is always posting new crafts, lessons and fun.

I would like to point out a few features on her blog. You will find activity calendars intended for children from preschool to first grade. The calendars are so cute they will surely replace the calendar on your fridge. Each day has a new activity which only takes about fifteen minutes and uses everyday household items. This is a wonderful way to start your morning, end your day, or use during those times little ones become restless and bored.
