iPad App for Preschoolers: Tiny Dentist

My lovely, seven year old. announced that she downloaded an app for her little sister. My first thought settled on wondering how she was able to remember my Apple ID from watching me type it in about an hour before. She is one smart cookie and one that needs to be watched. She was quite proud of herself for finding her little sister an educational app. Well, I am not sure how educational it is, but it is strangely fun.
Tiny Dentist does have a few features I am quite fond of; no in-app purchases or advertising. It is also currently free. My daughter was well aware that her hands would never touch the iPad again had she downloaded anything but free. The kids enjoyed playing dentist. The patients range from boys to girls to the dog pictured. It is your job to give them healthy smiles. You can whiten, extract, clean, and put braces on their teeth. Don’t forget the breath freshener. The different dental instruments are fun to use. Yes, I played dentist for a short time and actually had some fun.
If you are looking for a free app to keep your little ones giggling and engaged then this fits the bill.
The app is easy to navigate for little ones but may take some instruction on the use of the different dental tools.  The discovery of these tools was almost as much fun as playing.  The graphics are hysterical as you will work on all kinds of crazy creatures and people.  It is simply a good time and will appeal to older children as well.  My teenager thought it was fun for a while and so did I.  Apps come and go and this one is so much fun I think it will stick around for a bit.
What apps are your kids playing with?
