Another great gift is one of time for mothers. This may be different for each mother. Those with young children may value the gift of a few hours absolutely alone, whereas the mother of teenagers or grown children may value the gift of time together as a family. You should know your mother or your wife well enough to know which gift would mean the most to her right now.

And a little hint for those planning the Mother’s gift on Sunday. I’ve had a wide variety of Sunday gifts. They’ve ranged from candles to flowers, from photos to candy. Truthfully my favorite is chocolate. Most women I know agree with me. Flowers are dead by the time you get home, especially if they’ve been cut.
