Madonna’s Web of Lies Exposed

Why is it that when some people experience a negative situation the first thing they do is to place blame on someone else for their pain and suffering?

It’s never their fault, rather X, Y, or Z is to blame, and they are merely victims of unfortunate circumstances.

The world should weep for them, embrace them, and enable their inability to take responsibility for their own actions.

Oh, boo-hoo!

Well, now the aforementioned parties have another guest to invite to their pity parties—-Madonna.

If you haven’t already heard, the Material Mom fell off a horse last weekend. The singer was reportedly admitted to Southampton Hospital, New York with minor injuries and bruises, but is now resting at home.

However, instead of simply releasing a statement, which read: “Madonna suffered an unfortunate horse-related accident, but she’s okay,” her publicist issued this:

“Madonna was involved in an accident. The accident occurred when the horse Madonna was riding was startled by paparazzi that jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer who was visiting friends on Eastern Long Island over the weekend. Madonna will be having further tests and continues to remain under observation by doctors.”

So, basically, Madonna’s rep blamed a photographer for startling the singer’s horse and causing the 50-year-old to fall off the animal.

Given the nature of Madonna’s celebrity, the rep’s account seems plausible.

The only problem: The star snapper blamed for Madonna’s riding accident insists he wasn’t photographing the singer when the incident occurred, and he has proof to back up his statements.

The photographer in question, Thomas Hinton, told reporters that he was the only person taking the star’s picture, but insists he left before Madonna fell.

Hinton told TMZ.com he returned to the farm after he heard a police scanner report that an ambulance was en-route to a 50-year-old woman who had fallen from a horse. Hinton says he got back to the scene after the medics had arrived.

The paparazzo tells TMZ, “If I had startled the horse, I would have gotten pictures!”

Helping to corroborate Hinton’s story are local police, who say that no one from Madonna’s camp reported anything about a photographer spooking the singer’s horse.

Still, Madonna said Monday (through her trusty rep) that she stands by her story and that a pap was to blame for her fall.

Who do you believe?
