May Marriage Month

I wanted to take a few minutes today to talk about what you can look forward to in the month of may here at the Families.com Marriage Blog. May and June are two of the most popular months of the year to get married. They are also the months we celebrate Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.

In honor of these special months of the year, the May Marriage Blog is going to look specifically at all aspects of marriage planning. We’ll talk about ceremonies, marriage locations, bridal parties, wedding dress shopping, finding the perfect dress bachelor and bachelorette planning ideas, pre-marriage counseling along with religious and secular ceremonies. We’ve talked about Tips to Make Your Wedding Personal.

We’ll talk about planning weddings in remote locations or at theme areas like Disney World. We’re going to talk about receptions, wedding dates, wedding invitations, wedding gifts and wedding toasts. We’ve covered aspects of careers such as wedding planners before, but we’ll revisit some of those areas and discuss what you need to know as a wedding planner.

We’re also going to talk about the traditions from history and modern day that affect our choices in wedding planning. We’ll talk about how to set up a wedding registry and how to plan for beauty and we’ll share links to the Fitness and Weight Loss blogs about pre-wedding diets and looking forward to that special day.

May is officially Going to the Chapel month here. I look forward to sharing tips, ideas, dreams and hearing your own!
