Ready to fight the crowds and get your hands on the best Black Friday deals? It is helpful to make a plan about which store to shop first. One good way to make that decision is to find out when the stores will be opening their doors.
Yesterday, I posted a list that gave details about exactly when many of the big department stores will be starting their Black Friday Sales. However, there are plenty of stores that will be having big Black Friday sales that I didn’t have enough room to put into that first list.
Toys R Us has a “Cyber Thanksgiving” Sale that is happening all through Thanksgiving Day. You can get up to 60% off thousands of items. Obviously, you have to shop from their website to take advantage of this sale.
Toys R Us will begin its official “Black Friday” Sale today, Thanksgiving of 2011. Their “DoorBusters” Sale begins at 9:00 at night, tonight, and will continue through 1:00 in the afternoon tomorrow, November 25, 2011. This will overlap with their “Lowest Prices of the Season” Sale, which begins tonight, Thanksgiving, at 9:00 at night, will continue all through Friday, November 25, 2011, and on through Saturday, November 26, 2011.
Gap is doing a “Give Joy” shopping “event”. Everything online and in their stores is up to 60% off right now. This sale is going to continue through Saturday, November 26, 2011. Today, Thanksgiving, Gap will give you an extra 20% off your purchase from their website. Use the code GAPTHANKS at checkout to take advantage of this deal.
Barnes & Noble does not have its store hours for Black Friday listed anywhere on its website. You may want to call the store and ask when they will be opening their doors for Black Friday.

Michaels is currently having a “Three Day Sale”. Michaels will open its doors at 4:00 in the afternoon, today, Thanksgiving Day. They will remain open until 10:00 tonight. They will have a “Friday Doorbuster” sale that begins at 6:00 in the morning on Friday, November 25, 2011. This sale will continue until 9:30 at night on Friday, November 25, 2011. The last part of their “Three Day Sale” will be on Saturday, November 26, 2011, starting at 8:00 in the morning, and ending at 9:30 at night.
