My Favorite Household Cleaning Product: Mr. Clean’s Magic Eraser

If I had to pick my absolute most favorite housecleaning product, do you know what it would be? It would be Mr. Clean’s Magic Eraser. I especially like the kind that is scented with Febreze.

One of the first times I remember using this product was when I was a preschool teacher. I had to clean off the tables that were caked with dried paint and crayon marks. The spray we used wasn’t doing the job. Then someone suggested Mr. Clean’s Magic Eraser. It took hardly any effort to wipe those tables completely clean.

I use this product for a variety of areas in my home. I wipe off scuff marks on the walls. I wipe down the baseboards with it. I wipe off grease that has splashed onto my kitchen wall. I especially love it for cleaning out the grime and soap scum in our tub. It can even clean the inside of my bearded dragon’s cages.

Recently my husband used it on our minivan’s front window. Apparently our window on the outside was almost encrusted with sand, from an area of town that we travel through frequently and has a lot of construction going on.

We tried the usual route, windshield wiper fluid and the wipers to take it off. It didn’t work. My husband tried spraying it with soap and water, then wiping it off but that didn’t work either. It wasn’t until we put the magic eraser to it that we finally saw the sand come off.

You get to see how much dirt you are actually cleaning up when it shows up on your sponge. It really is a magic eraser.

Best of all, it is not abrasive so you don’t have to worry about it leaving behind marks. You don’t feel like your hands are burning from chemicals.

I also love the variety of sizes that are available. They last a long time and leave behind a fresh scent when you use the magic erasers that contain Febreze.

What is your favorite household cleaning product?
