It occurred to me this evening — as I was dicing chicken and string beans for the dogs’ supper — that I’ve become the Crazy Dog Lady. Ask a Baby Blogger: Is it Wise to Get Emergency Formula and Bottles?

Question: I’m due to have my first in a few months. I want to buy formula and bottles just in case of an emergency but I’m being told that it’s unnecessary if I’m going to breastfeed. Question: I was told that my baby was fussy and spitting up so much because he was allergic to my milk. This doesn’t really make sense to me–can you explain it better? I hate to be the one to tell you this, but being allergic to breastmilk is not really possible. Babies simply are not allergic to their own mother’s milk.
