Most brides that I know of that live in my area plan their own weddings. They search through books and get ideas from others. However, no professional person or service is hired for the planning help. The professionals do come in when food, cakes, invitations, decorations, and filming are concerned. I have always heard that the summer months, especially June, are the prime wedding months. Most brides plan their weddings around how fast they desire to get married and which month they prefer.
