Rent Your Children for Extra Cash

This gets listed under one of those “Why didn’t I think of that?” ideas. It is such as simple idea, and yet it can make you some easy money.

Making ends meet can be pretty tough right now, and our kids tend to add to the burden with all of those extra expenses. Besides food, clothing and medical cares, there are toys, activities, school fees, etc. It really adds up. Kids really make you spend.

Everyone should be involved in frugal living in a family, and that includes children as well. If everyone is on board with saving money and increasing the money that you have, then you are more likely to be successful.

Turn all of that negative money draining into a positive money earning by taking advantage of the fact that you have free labor. Don’t let this resource go to waste. Kids can do all sorts of things to bring in more income into the household.

For example, if you pack your child’s lunch each morning, pack an extra one that he can sell while he is at school. Homemade treats, such as brownies score the most money. or better yet, have your child make simple foods himself to sell. This is no different than having a lemonade stand, except that you are better at targeting your audience this way and making some real money.

Kids can also do an entire host of odd jobs around the neighborhood for extra cash. Let all of your friends and neighbors know that they are available for hire. Kids can mow the lawn, bring in the mail, walk dogs and clean out chimneys, all for extra income. If you happen to babysit other children, you can score even more. Form a kiddie co-op and keep at least 20 percent of the profits.

Oh an one more thing that you should know about renting your children for extra cash. April Fools to you today. I hope you enjoyed it!
