Sail Into Super Savings

HonoluluThe new week has generated a tidal wave of savings for cruise fans.  If you are a veteran high seas voyager or you’re looking to take your first major sail, now is the time to act.

Norwegian Cruise Line just announced a new promotion which issues free upgrades to passengers with new bookings.  The “Upgrade and Go” sale allows travelers to book a balcony cabin for the price of an oceanview cabin, or an oceanview cabin for the price of a windowless interior cabin.

The sale is applicable to Caribbean, Bahamas, Florida, Hawaii and Europe cruises.  In addition, customers booking select itineraries during the promo period are also eligible for up to $250 in on-board credits, plus up to $1,000 in air credits.

If you want in on the money-saving offer, you have just under a month to book your cabin.  The “Upgrade and Go” sale ends August 3rd.

For those who have always dreamed of taking a luxury cruise of Mexico, small ship line Un-Cruise Adventures just kicked-off an amazing sale.

From now through August 2nd, you can score up to $400 savings on the following week-long adventures:

Cousteau’s Aquarium of the World:  Sails round-trip from San José del Cabo, stopping in Loreto and La Paz, and visiting Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park where you can swim with whale sharks.

Baja’s Whale Bounty: Sails from San José del Cabo, and will visit Bahía Magdalena for a chance to get up close and personal with gray whales and their calves.

Milagros Maritimos de Baja California:  Sails from Guaymas, visiting remote, scenic areas in the Midriff Islands in the northern part of Mexico’s Sea of Cortés.

The discounted cruises will depart after December 2013 on the line’s newly acquired 64-passenger Safari Voyager.  In addition, if you book before the end of the month, you can also save on a special two-week repositioning cruise, which travels between San José del Cabo and Guaymas beginning June 21, 2014.
