Save Big on Exotic Cruises

Mexico, the Caribbean, Alaska… if you’ve been there done that in regards to cruising then you might consider the exotic locales Royal Caribbean is voyaging to this year. The deep-sea odysseys depart from international hubs and vary in length from four to ten days. However, one thing that is consistent among all of the trips is that the price has been discounted to attract travelers who don’t normally globetrot on a regular basis.

Take a look… the package deals might surprise you:

Talk about a deep discount… this four-night cruise is priced at just $349 per person for an interior cabin. The voyage makes two stops along the Thai-Malay Peninsula. Sailing from Singapore aboard the Legend of the Seas, you’ll visit Phuket in Thailand, after an entire day at sea. In addition, you’ll get to explore Malaysia’s Langkawi peninsula. Royal Caribbean’s Splendour of the Seas sets sail on November 22, 2008 and drops anchor in Dubrovnik (Croatia), Santorini (Greece), Tunis (Tunisia), Malaga (Spain), and Casablanca (Morocco). You’ll also have four entire days to relax at sea along the way before arriving in Portuguese capital of Lisbon. Interior cabins on this trip are priced at just $799.

BRAZIL

Start your new year off with a South American cruise. This six-night trip, which departs in January from the Brazilian port city of Santos, 30 miles from Sao Paulo, makes stops along the Atlantic coast and provides you with one day at sea. The ship heads north of Rio de Janeiro to reach its first destination, Buzios. Returning south, you’ll stop in sunny Cabo Frio, colonial Parati, and the island of Ilhabela. For the January 11 and January 25, 2009 sailings, interior cabins are priced at a reasonable $699.
