Save on a SoCal Spring Break Escape

With abundant sunshine, gloriously warm temperatures, 70 miles of gorgeous beaches and a slew of world-famous attractions, San Diego is a hot spot for families looking to enjoy a fun-filled spring break.  Fortunately, the popular Southern California city is also a haven for frugal travelers.  Right now, several area hotels are offering incredible package deals catering to budget-conscious clans.

Some of the money-saving getaways include:

Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa:  From now through May 23rd you can escape Old Man Winter’s wrath and luxuriate at the Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa, located within minutes from La Jolla; one of San Diego’s most affluent neighborhoods.  The property is offering a “Break into Spring Package,” which features a $50 spa credit towards treatments and services at the tony Spa at Estancia. Rates start at $199 per night, plus tax.

Embassy Suites Hotel San Diego–La Jolla:  Chase the winter blues away by booking Embassy Suites’ “Spring Flowers and Suites Package.”  For just $159 per night you will receive luxury accommodations, a family four-pack of tickets (2 adults/2 children) to the spectacular Flower Fields of Carlsbad Ranch, and complimentary parking.  The offer is good through April 28th.

Westin Gaslamp Quarter San Diego:  Located in the heart of downtown San Diego, the popular property is running a “Stay the Night, See the Sights Package.”  From now through April 30th you will receive a nightly rate of just $199, plus two Seal Tour tickets for an exciting adventure on land and sea.  The catch:  The deal requires a minimum two-night stay.

Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel:  This luxury hotel is located just steps from the city’s historic Gaslamp Quarter; putting you close to a myriad of restaurants, shops and tourist attractions.  For just $139 per night you can take advantage of the hotel’s “Get It All Package,” which includes an in-room movie, complimentary self-parking and a $50 dining credit for any one of the hotel’s restaurants.  The discounted package deal is good through June 10th.
