Snag a Post-Thanksgiving Travel Deal

left

They aren’t exactly the Black Friday deals being offered at the mall, but you can still save big on travel packages by booking by the end of the month.

Take a break from the chaos surrounding the holiday season by jetting off to Sin City this December. Pleasant Holidays is offering a money-saving package deal featuring round-trip airfare from Los Angeles to Las Vegas on Spirit Airlines, a four-night stay in a deluxe room at the Wynn Las Vegas, plus a $100 resort credit all for just $369. The price doesn’t include a $20 per room, per night resort fee. However, you don’t have to fly out of Los Angeles to take advantage of the deal. Simply add $82 to the $369 price to depart from San Francisco; add $100 for Dallas; add $120 for Denver; $144 for Chicago; and $205 for Atlanta.

That’s huge considering it would normally cost you about $600 per person for a four-night stay in a deluxe room at the Wynn during the month of December. By paying just under $400 for the room, airfare, and resort credit you are essentially having Pleasant Holidays pay you for booking the package.

Another incredible offer for frugal travelers comes courtesy of Grand Circle Travel. Right now, you can score an unbelievable vacation package to Germany and Austria for just $1,495. It includes the following:

*Airfare from New York City to Nuremberg, with a return flight from Vienna, on Air France, Delta, or KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

*A seven-night river cruise onboard the Grand Circle MS River Aria or MS River Adagio.

*All meals including seven breakfasts, seven lunches, and seven dinners, plus wine at dinner.

*Four guided tours including Nuremberg, Regensburg, Passau, and Melk Abbey; cultural programs like a German language session, Regensburg choral concert, glass-blowing demonstration, traditional baking demonstration, discussion about the history of the Christmas tree, an organ concert at Melk Abbey, and the stories behind German Christmas traditions.

*Captain’s welcome and farewell receptions and dinners.

*Baggage handling for one piece of luggage per person including tips.

*Five percent credit towards your next trip with Grand Circle.

The catch: You must book by November 30th for travel during the second week in December. Also, the package price does not include port taxes of approximately $125 per person.
