Summer Disneyland Deals

For the most part the Disney Parks post their special offers on the relevant dedicated pages, which I’ve examined here for you before. Occasionally Disney has other promotions going on that may or may not make it onto the Special Offers page, and today I’m going to cover those.

Over the past two weeks the official Disney Parks blog has announced a variety of summertime Disneyland deals, and not all of them are viewable on the park’s Special Offers site. One is very similar to a deal I covered last time: if you book a Disneyland vacation by this Friday, June 18, for a trip taken anytime between June 19 and August 13, you can save up to 25% on a stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. Follow the link here for details about the specific prices and hotels.

As of yet I haven’t been able to find the rest of the deals on the Special Offers page, so thank goodness for the parks blog. Do FASTPASS tickets appeal to you, but you don’t like the extra cost? This summer Disneyland’s got you covered.

Starting now through September 5, you’ll get two FASTPASS tickets for each person in your group included as part of your package if you stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. You will still have to buy separate admission to the theme parks. Details are at the Disneyland Resorts page here.

To promote the opening of Disneyland’s Ariel’s Undersea Adventure attraction, guests can get early admission to the new ride. Anyone staying at a Disneyland Resort from now until September 5, like the deal above, gets the opportunity to visit Ariel’s Undersea Adventure 30 minutes before Disneyland California Adventure opens. Also like above, theme park admission is required.

Any residents of the Anaheim area also have their own special offer. For years I’ve heard of exclusive Disney World tickets for Orlando residents, but I never learned anything about a West Coast equivalent. Whether this is a new thing or just the latest version, any Anaheim-area Disney fans ought to take note.

The Southern California resident ticket gives holders three one-day visits to either Disneyland or Disney California Adventure. It seems that the ticket can be used for either park, but only one at a time. The ticket costs $139, and a $15 upgrade will include Park Hopper privileges, which lets the holder visit either park.

The offer lasts from now until September 5, with the high-volume dates of July 2-4 and August 21-22 not applicable. Anyone living within the Southern California 90000-93599 zip codes or Northern Baja California zips 21000-22999 is eligible. For full details, including a list of the many places at which California residents can purchase these tickets, check out the official parks post here.
