Super Bowl Scrapping

Are you ready for some football?

Even if you are not into watching grown men pummel each other in order to get their hands on a precious piece of pigskin, the Super Bowl is likely one football game you tune into.  Whether you watch it for the commercials, the halftime show, or you are truly interested in the game’s outcome, the iconic sporting event can be scrapbook worthy.

The NFL championship game attracts millions of viewers each year and is the cause for many parties from coast-to-coast.  If you are planning to gather with friends and family to celebrate Super Bowl XLVII remember to take pictures of the festivities and hang on to some memorabilia, so that you can craft a few layouts documenting the soiree.

To spice up your Super Bowl-themed scrapbook consider featuring your favorite team’s colors on the cover.  You could also opt to alter the shape of your memory book.  Instead of going with a traditional 12×12 album, choose a book in the shape of a football or a jersey.  If you prefer to go with the standard album shape, you could add some pizzazz by making it look like a football field complete with goal posts and yard lines.

Another way to add character to your Super Bowl layouts is to pepper the pages with football-themed quotes, such as:

“Football is like life – it requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication and respect for authority.”

“Baseball is what we were; football is what we have become.”

“Good teams become great ones when the members trust each other enough to surrender the ‘me’ for the ‘we.'”

“Football is an honest game. It’s true to life. It’s a game about sharing. Football is a team game. So is life.”

You can print the quotes in various fonts and place them around your page to enhance the theme of the layout.
