It seems as though everyone is talking about the new memoir book that has come out by Maureen McCormick in which she tells everyone her life story, including how she survived being Marsha Brady. “Brady Bunch” Star Dies and Britney Returns to the Land of the Living

He was best known in my family as Alice’s butcher boyfriend on “The Brady Bunch,” but you might remember Allan Melvin as Archie Bunker’s neighbor on “All in the Family.” Regardless of his previous roles, family, friends and fans of Melvin are mourning his loss. According to the Los Angeles Times, the sitcom star died late last week from cancer. He was 84. In addition to his roles on “The Brady Bunch,” “All in the Family” and “The Andy Griffith Show,” Melvin was also the voice of Bluto on the Popeye cartoon and Hanna Barbera’s Magilla Gorilla.
