Answer: He suffered a minor heart attack. Question: What happened to “Jeopardy” host Alex Trebek? The 67-year-old longtime game show host gave his family quite a scare Monday night. Trebek reportedly felt pains in his chest and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where doctors discovered he had a minor heart attack. According to Trebek’s rep, the Canadian-born celebrity will remain in the hospital for a couple more days for tests and observation.
