‘It’s just not the same any more.’ These words were spoken by a woman as her reason for leaving her husband and ending their ten year old marriage. Admittedly this came from a novel I’m reading at the moment. But I suspect it’s based on reality, since fiction reflects society back to us. Looking at Mary

What did God see in such a young lady that she of all women would be chosen to carry the Christ child? I’ve wondered this question for so long. Now with Christmas approaching, I thought this would be a good time to look to the Bible and read what it has to say about Mary. Activities for the Story of Christ’s Birth

I always think that crafts are a great way to enhance any Bible story which you teach your children. Crafts engage children in a different way than a Bible story lesson; however, crafts help to reiterate the lesson the children have just learned. In the Bible class I teach, I use the craft time to ask the children about what they are making, and thus ask them if they really learned the lesson I just finished teaching.
