Grocery Deals of the Week – QFC / Kroger

QFC (Kroger in some areas) is consistently higher than the other stores in my area. I shop there for two reasons: they have great loss leaders, and their customer service is miles ahead of the Safeway in our town. I picked up Mentos at 10/$10. Why Mentos? It’s a homeschool thing. QFC / Kroger Deal on Frozen Chicken

I’ll admit it. Sometimes I just don’t feel like cooking dinner. We’ve actually had Rocky Road ice cream for our main meal. The kids didn’t seem to mind, and I figure that they normally eat healthy so it’s not going to hurt too much. Nights like that in our house are called “hodge-podge”. Super Deal from Kraft at Kroger

I love Superbowl Sunday. No, not because of the football game. Though I’d like to watch the Colts win, I’ll be camping with the Scout troop instead. I love it because there are always good grocery store sales! One of this week’s best deals in my area is at QFC/Kroger. Not only has Kraft reduced prices for the week, but they’re also offering $8 off the purchase of any eight items that are pink tagged (the pink tag is a participating Kraft Game Day Essential item).
