I remember when I got my first set of business cards.  I was elected as a member of the Hawaii State Board of Education and scored a box of fancy schmancy cards featuring a border of gold foil. I was 17 years old, though the cards made me feel at least 27. I overhead a discussion today regarding business cards, and it made me think about them (which, admittedly, isn’t something I do very often.) It used to be that business cards were your calling card, and a reflection of you, albeit a professional reflection. The thickness of the cardstock, the writing style, the colors used, and the information included (what phone numbers, what addresses, etc) was an encapsulation of the business card holder’s professional life. Business Card Holder

This craft makes a great gift for your favorite executive or home business owner. Items Needed: Craft sticks (Popsicle stick size) Glue Felt Utility knife (with adult assistance) Paint Paintbrush Stickers, stencils, or other embellishments Directions: Place plastic over your work surface to avoid messes. Newspaper isn’t great for this project. Use plastic grocery bags if you don’t have anything else handy. Place three craft sticks lying flat, side by side, and glue them together.
