Resume – Summary of Qualifications

This part of the resume comes after your objective. The Summary of Qualifications is something that many people leave off their resume, but I highly recommend that it be included. This is where you have a chance to brag about skills and qualifications that might not make it into your resume otherwise. This section of your resume should be in a bulleted list. The objective is listed as optional in a lot of resume manuals, but I disagree. The point of your resume objective is to explain what kind of position you are seeking. Especially if you are sending your resume out to a lot of different employers, it is important that it be obvious why you have sent the resume to that particular company.
