One of my most valued possessions is my collection of photo albums. In September of 2001, on a whim I had the kids’ photo taken at a Picture People in the mall. They needed haircuts and their clothes weren’t new, but it was to be a surprise for daddy. Cute photo of them holding flags and stars, and wearing red, white, and blue. Two days later 9/11 happened. To me, the picture will always remind me of that tragedy. It’s what photos are for, really. Coupon Book for Mom

You may have seen this idea before, but I really like this one. Make up a cool coupon book for Mom, and let her redeem her special coupons for lots of hugs, help with chores and maybe a nice neck or shoulder massage. Get creative with coupon ideas and make them for thoughtful things that your mom will appreciate. Don’t just write your ideas out on paper; make the coupons really fancy.
