Pirates Attack French Navy

You have probably read the stupid criminal stories before. You know, like the bank robber that writes his hold up note on his deposit slip that contains all of his personal information. Today, I read an international stupid criminal headline on Yahoo…”Somali pirates attack French military flagship.” If you’ve been reading the news lately, you know that pirate attacks are on the rise, particularly off the coast of Somalia. We are not talking charming Jack Sparrow pirates, but honest to God modern day pirates. I really shouldn’t make fun of these pirates. I am sure their piracy is just an … Continue reading

Ahoy Captain – Spam Bots on the Horizon!

Okay, so I think I’m a lot funnier than I really am, what can I say? Today, I wanted to talk about spam bots, and why it is that people write their e-mail addresses so strangely (myself is included in that bunch.) First off, spam bots are not large metallic robots crawling all over spam, although that picture is a bit closer to the truth than you might think. Spam bots are programs (robots without the metal body) that are sent out onto the world wide web to search for e-mail addresses. Every time they find one, the data is … Continue reading
