Today I finally get to use one of my favorite sayings: Happy Fall Y’All! (I just think that’s such a cute expression.) Okay, now that that’s out of my system, I can move on. Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I think because of all the romantic potential that’s in the air. The weather cools down, lending to snuggling inside and taking long strolls outside. Free Frugal Weekend Fun

With a three day weekend upon us, and a long week of school over and done with, it’s time for some fun and relaxation. None of us feels much like packing in a full weekend of activities, so we decided to use some creativity to create a frugal weekend of fun of our own. Group Games

These games are for groups of kids, so they work well when your children have lots of friends over, or during parties and picnics. Mark off a giant checkerboard on your lawn. Pick captains and let each one choose teams and line up his or her “checkers.” You can give each child a piece of black or red construction paper or fabric to put on his or her shirt.
