After reminding everyone, how frugal sidewalk chalk activities can be, I decided to share the chalk recipe that we used. It was much easier and cheaper, than many I have seen. As soon as the cold air leaves the area, and the warm sunshine is a more common occurrence, my children are outside with chalk in hand, drawing elaborate pictures on our driveway, roads and buildings, messages on our sidewalks, and coloring rocks and bricks with chalk.
