To Water Or Not To Water

“Heat Wave;” “Dangerously Hot;” “Hazing and Humid;” these are the various ways local meteorologists have chosen to describe our current weather conditions. The oppressive heat is predicted to last at least until early next week. I plan to ride out this heat wave in the comfort of our air-conditioned home. Outdoor Fun

If your kids love to play outside, or if you’re looking for ways to get them out into the fresh air more often, try some of these ideas. Squirters Save squirt bottles such as those that ketchup, mustard, or other condiments come in and wash them out. Remove the labels and write your child’s name on a bottle with permanent marker. Give each child one and let them fill the bottles with water. They make great squirters and your children will have fun chasing each other around and getting wet. Creating Your Own Backyard Water Park

Yesterday was sunny and warm, with just enough of a breeze to make playing outside tolerable. Perfect conditions for a BYOP party. BYOP or Bring Your Own Pool was the theme of our playgroup’s last get together of the season.
