Have you gotten one of those “invitations” from Starbucks? I got one when I was at my local Starbucks earlier this week. It prints out with your receipt, and gives clear, simple directions on how to take a quick survey. Completing the survey gives you a free tall beverage from Starbucks.
No matter what your favorite drink from Starbucks happens to be, it always tastes a little bit better when it is free. My current favorite happens to be the iced chai tea, with soy, and I tend to switch of between getting the tall size, or getting the grande size drink. It all depends on how thirsty I am when I arrive at the Starbucks. My husband and I go there a few times a week.
Perhaps it was the frequency of our visits that prompted the cash register to print out directions for the survey on our most recent visit. The very friendly and helpful barista asked if we had ever been given an “invitation” before. The “invitation” is for us to take the survey. Basically, this is a customer opinion survey, of the kind that many stores use to find out how well, or how poorly, the customer service is at that particular location.
If you get one of these surveys, you should complete it right away. You have to take the survey within 14 days of the date that the receipt was printed out of the cash register. You have to use the coupon code that you will get when you complete the survey within 30 days of the date that the receipt was printed out. If you wait too long, you will miss out on this deal!
Start by going to the Starbucks website where the survey will begin. You will need to enter the customer code that is printed on the bottom of the receipt that talks about the survey, so make sure you have it nearby. It only takes about five minutes to complete the survey. After you finish, you will receive a unique coupon code. You must write that code on the receipt that talks about the survey. There is a space provided for you to write it in. Now, all that is left to do is to bring this little piece of paper with me on my next trip to Starbucks, and I will get a free tall drink of my choice. I’m already thinking about what to get!
