You can also save on your wedding invitations by excluding an RSVP card. When sending an RSVP card, they usually cost extra to print. In some cases the postage for mailing many also be higher. With these RSVP cards you must also include a postage ready return postcard or envelope for it to be sent back to you.
There is really no need in an RSVP unless you plan to have a sit down dinner. If you are having an informal reception with finger foods, simply plan for the number of people you invited. Not everyone will show but this will cover any extra guests that may arrive.
