Three Low Fat Jello Desserts

Summer picnics and gatherings would not be the same without some refreshing desserts. Those desserts do not have to cause your waistline to expand. While you still need to control your portions regardless of what you eat, here are three fun low fat desserts to keep your satisfied this year.

Chocolate Berry Bliss

Ingredients:

1 pkg. (1.4 oz.)JELL-O Chocolate Fat Free Sugar Free Instant Pudding

2 cups cold fat-free milk

½ cup thawed COOL WHIP Sugar Free Whipped Topping

1 cup sliced fresh strawberries

Directions:

Beat pudding mix and milk in medium bowl with whisk 2 min. Stir in COOL WHIP.

Spoon half into 6 dessert glasses; top with layers of berries and remaining pudding mixture.

Refrigerate 1 hour.

Try substituting the flavor of pudding and the type of fruit for more fun and options!

Jello 123 Dessert

Ingredients:

¾ cup boiling water

1 pkg. (0.3 oz.) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Sugar Free Gelatin, or any flavor

ice cubes

½ cup cold water

½ cup thawed COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping

Directions:

Add boiling water to gelatin mix iin medium bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Pour into blender. Add enough ice to cold water to measure 1-1/4 cups; add to blender. Blend 30 sec. or until smooth.

Add COOL WHIP; blend well.

Pour into 4 dessert dishes. Refrigerate 20 min. or until firm.

Double Fruit Flavor Frozen Pops

1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Orange Flavor Gelatin

1 envelope KOOL-AID Orange Flavor Unsweetened Soft Drink Mix

1 cup sugar

2 cups boiling water

2 cups cold water

Directions:

Mix dry gelatin mix, drink mix and sugar in medium bowl. Add boiling water; stir 2 min. until mixes are completely dissolved. Stir in cold water.

Pour into 12 paper or plastic cups. Freeze 2 hours or until almost firm.

Insert wooden pop stick or plastic spoon in center of each cup. Freeze 3 hours or until firm. Remove from cups before serving.

This one you can experiment with flavors and substitute the type of Jello and Kool Aid mix.
