Trista Gives new “Bachelorette” Marriage Advice

I will say this… at least she’s still married.

Yes, I give credit to Trista Sutter, the original “Bachelorette” who found her Prince Charming in husband Ryan Sutter in front of an audience filled with naysayers, and then went on to marry him in front of millions more on national TV.

The Sutters are not only still married, but they are also parents to a 1-year-old son Max, who lives with the couple in Vail, Colorado far from the media glare and the Hollywood rumor mill that constantly churns out stories of infidelities and break-ups.

Trista’s happy ending apparently inspired TV’s most recent “Bachelorette,” Deanna Pappas to give love another shot after being publicly rejected and humiliated by “Bachelor” Brad Womack in the 11th season of the ABC reality TV show.

Pappas returned to the dating show earlier this year and is now engaged to Jesse Csincsak.

According to ABC, Pappas and Csincsak’s recently visited the Sutters at their Colorado home as part of a special episode of “The Bachelor-Bachelorette” series, which will air sometime in the fall.

While there the couples discussed getting engaged while millions of people looked on.

“I really have hopes that they’ll make it to the alter like we did,” Trista said of the recent taped meeting.

Pappas also took the opportunity to get advice from Sutter.

“My biggest piece of advice is to get away from the craziness and the hype,” Sutter said. “They waited so long to be together, but it’s really important to focus on yourself and not believe the hype of the show. Yes, the show introduced you, but take what the show gave you and try to make it your own.”

Pappas and Csincsak revealed that they plan to marry on May 9, 2009, though no deal on a TV wedding (ala Trista and Ryan’s December 2003 nuptials, which was seen by more than 17 million TV viewers) has been inked. Still, Pappas says she plans to go through with the wedding to Csincsak no matter what.
