Coupons in the Mail

Receiving coupon booklets in the mail is a great way to increase your opportunities for savings. Many times you will also find special promotions at the grocery store, with booklets of coupons near the store entrance or on a special display. It pays to look at these, because while the coupons might bear the store brand, if they are manufacturers coupons they can be redeemed anywhere that coupons are accepted.

Unilever is sponsoring a sweepstakes at many supermarkets – you’ll see the booklet “Personal COncierge – savings and Service For Your Life”. If you see this booklet, look inside. You’ll find the following manufacturer coupons, all expiring June 30, 2009:

Bertolli Pasta Sauce Products Save $1.00 on any two
Suave Professionals Hair Care Products Any 2 (32 oz)

I can’t repeat it enough – sign up on websites to receive coupons, even if you have trouble printing them from your computer. Many companies will mail to you instead. I had that experience with Dreamfields Pasta – for some reason their coupon generator does not like my printer. I received three $1.00 coupons in the mail when I reported this.

Sign up at HomeMadeSimple.com for a great booklet of coupons in your mail. These are high value (50 cents to $5.00) coupons off Swiffer,Dawn, Febreze, Mr. Clean, and Cascade products. There is a coupon for free Cascade rinse agent included. All expire Sept 30, 2009.

One really great way to get special coupons in the mail is to keep in touch with manufacturers. Send them an email or note or phone call about their product – and many will reward you with coupons for your interest.
