Everyone probably knows a couple that is living together. That is they are a romantically involved couple who is not married but lives in the same house. More and more couples are now living together for a time before getting married or living together and never getting married or living together and then splitting up.
Moving in together is a very big decision for some couples and a very quick and easy decision for some couples. Some partners have lived with two or more mates in their lifetime. Others feel that moving in together is a more serious commitment.
So should you move in together or not? Is it beneficial to you and your relationship to live with your partner?
I think that every couple ahs to answer this question for themselves. Every couple would likely come up with a different answer to the question.
However there are both negative and positive results from moving in and living together as a couple.
When you move into together you can discover things about your mate that could never be discovered otherwise. There are simply things that you could never know without sharing the same home. This gives you some very personal insight about your partner before you make a commitment for life.
Also when you move in with your mate, you can discover much about your personality styles and lifestyles. Are the two of you really compatible? Living together can tell you. Just because you think or even know that you love someone does not mean that the two of you can live together peacefully. Some men make great dates but very poor husbands. Likewise some women are wonderful companions but terrible wives.
Living together can also tell you much about the partnership the two of you will share. It gives you a chance to work together on finances, housework, and other responsibilities.
