Hollywood Hook Ups and Make Ups

It’s not everyday that you find love in the gym. But that’s exactly what happened to American Idol and Celebrity Fit Club alum Kimberley Locke. She was trying to lose weight and in the process found romance in the weight room.

Locke recently confirmed that she is indeed “involved” with Celebrity Fit Club’s Harvey E. Walden IV. However, since the notoriously tough trainer is in the midst of a divorce Locke refuses to call him her boyfriend.

“[His divorce] is why we’re not a couple yet,” Locke told reporters. “That is my rule. Whether you’re separated or married — whatever — I would like it to be cleared up. Until then we can hang out together and have fun together.”

The 30-year-old singer says a romantic spark developed between the two after Celebrity Fit Club wrapped. She admits spending all that time with Walden in the gym did help get the ball rolling on a potential hook up.

These days the pair still workout together occasionally. “We go running and everything, but the whole working out in the gym thing didn’t go so well,” Locke says.

Still, Locke, who lost 40 pounds last year during her stint on Celebrity Fit Club and later as a Jenny Craig spokeswoman, says she remains optimistic about a future with her former trainer.

While Locke and Walden are hooking up it appears Elisabeth Hasselbeck and former nemesis Rosie O’Donnell are making up.

The former “View” co-host confirmed to TV’s “Entertainment Tonight” that she has offered an olive branch to Hasselbeck in the form of baby gifts.

O’Donnell says she saw Hasselbeck’s newest addition, 2-month-old son Taylor Thomas on TV this week and recently sent him “some lovely gifts” and has been emailing his mom.

“Peace prevails,” according to O’Donnell who infamously got into a war of words with Hasselbeck on the daytime chatfest last year.

“I sent something for him and something for his big sister [Grace, 2],” said O’Donnell. “Because, as the mother of four, I know that when the newborn arrives, the most important thing is a sibling gift. For [Taylor], it was a lot of clothes, because babies spit up a lot. I go to Baby Gap. There is a standard newborn gift pack – as much as you can buy at the Gap without being arrested. And a learning gift, a soft shape sorter. And then for [Grace] who is older, I got a tea set that she loves.”

O’Donnell says she doesn’t know when she will get to see baby Taylor in person, but is happy that she and Hasselbeck are working on mending their fractured friendship.
